# Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues while using the AstraAlgo Backtester on TradingView, this guide provides solutions to the most common problems.&#x20;

Review the points below before reaching out to support to ensure a quick resolution.

<details>

<summary><strong>No Signals Displayed</strong></summary>

Check your Signal Mode in the settings menu. If set to “Off,” signals will not appear.&#x20;

Also confirm that filters such as Session, Noise, or Volatility are not blocking signals during the selected time period.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Backtester Not Loading</strong></summary>

Refresh your TradingView chart and ensure your [subscription is active](https://docs.astraalgo.com/getting-started/onboarding/gaining-access-to-our-toolkit).&#x20;

If the indicator is already applied, try removing and reapplying it to resolve loading issues.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Alerts Not Triggering</strong></summary>

Make sure alerts are set to “[Once Per Bar Close](https://docs.astraalgo.com/resources/materials/alerts-reference)” to receive confirmed signals.&#x20;

Also check that you have selected the correct alert condition and that any session or time zone filters are properly configured.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Unexpected Results or Missing Trades</strong></summary>

Review your filter settings and signal parameters, as overly strict filters or misaligned percentages can exclude trades.&#x20;

Remember that backtests may differ slightly across timeframes due to TradingView’s historical data handling.
